What do you need to spoof the firmware

Spoofing firmware is a pure software process, in this step, you do NOT need to connect your Lite-on DVD to your PC.

You need the following tools/softwares to spoof the firmware:

1. Key, identification and inquiry bin files from your factory original Lite-on DVD drive. If you don't have them please follow Xbox 360 Lite On DVD Key Dumping to get the files
2. You must install PortIO32 drivers. For vista users, please follow the instruction [here] to install PortIO32. If you already have the key extracted on the same machine, you should have PortIO32 installed already.
3. You need .NET framework. Download from [here] and install it. If you already have the key extracted on the same machine, you should have PortIO32 installed already.
4. iXtreme 1.5 & Jungle Flasher 0.26 BETA or above. Download it from [here] and unzip to your machine. You need [WinRAR] to unzip the files
5. You need to know the SATA port number of Lite-on DVD. If you don't know, follow Xbox 360 Lite On DVD Key Dumping to get the correct SATA port number.
6. You do NOT need to use Extractor addon when spoofing or flashing the firmware.

Now let's get started!
Spoof Lite-on DVD Drive Firmware (~5 minutes)

Download the package from [here] and unzip it to a folder on your hard drive.

Click on JungleFlasher.exe in your file explore, click "go" on the welcome screen:

You will see this screen. You will see the default tab, FirmwareTool32, if not, click on FirmwareTool32:

Click on the "Load From Dump Files" button:

On this dialog, click the first button on the left of the screen to load the key file:

Browse to the folder contains the key file, select it and click ok:

The input box of key.bin is filled with the path to the key file. Now click on the second button to load the Inquiry.bin file:

Browse to the folder contains the inquiry file, select it and click ok:

Both key and inquiry input boxes are filled in. Click on last button to select the Identify.bin file:

Browse to the folder contains the identify file, select it and click ok:

All fields are filled in. Click "OK":

Keep default value for the dummy.bin file, click OK:

You are back on the main screen now. You will see some fields are populated. Click on "Open target firmware" button:

Select the iXtreme 1.5 firmware for Lite-on, click on "Open":

We are back to main screen again, more information are populated. Click "Spoof source to target"

Firmware spoofed! Click "Save to file":

Keep the default file name, click "Save":

Spoofed firmware saved. Remember the path to the saved firmware, you will need to flash it into your Lite-on!
