How to Transfer Xbox 360 Saves to a Hard Drive Empty How to Transfer Xbox 360 Saves to a Hard Drive

    Post  Peppies™ 13th February 2011, 20:08

The Xbox 360 supports multiple storage devices, all of which can be connected to the console at once. Game saves stored on the internal memory, USB flash drive or Xbox 360 memory card can be transferred to the Xbox 360 hard drive. If the game save contains data from premium or downloaded content, the save may not work if the Xbox does not have that same content installed.
    Difficulty: Easy
    Instructions

    1. Turn the Xbox 360 off. Connect the device that contains the save file that you want to transfer to the hard drive. If it's not already, attach the Xbox 360 hard drive to hard drive bay on the left side of the Xbox.

    2. Turn the Xbox 360 on. Scroll to the "My Xbox" menu. Select "System Settings." Select "Memory." All of the storage devices connected to the Xbox will be listed.

    3. Select the storage device that has the save file you want to transfer. Select "System Items." Select the save file that you want to transfer. Select "Copy." When asked which device you want to transfer the file to, select "Hard Drive." To move save files, you must be signed in. After initiating the transfer, you will be asked to sign in to your profile if you're not already.
