Microsoft has finally announced the release dates of its much awaited SP1 for the windows 7 operating systems. Microsoft press release says that it plans to release SP1 on Feb, 22, 2011 to the public, however, Microsoft maintains that SP1 carries no new features but it is just a pack of the updates and hot fixes released so far. Microsoft, however, from today has rolled out the SP1 to Microsoft Developer Network subscribers, TechNet subscribers and Volume License customers.
